Creating crepe flowers tutorial from Dressy Girl Peggy.

Good Sunday Morning!
Popping in today with a tutorial for making crepe paper flowers. They are easy to make and oh so pretty on cards with All Dressed Up images. You can find crepe paper in the party section of most big box stores.

Start with a two foot long strip. You can make it longer if you want more layers. I trimmed off the width a little to make the flower smaller. The wider the crepe paper the larger the flower.
Next, sew the entire length of the strip using a long stitch so that you can gather it. Pull on one of the end threads and gather the entire length.
The strip will start folding over on itself as you gather and look like this.
Hold one end and turn the strip round and round to form the flower.
I added a button to the center of the flower.

For my card I used one of the sweet girls from the All Dressed Up Three Little Party Girls and added a yellow crepe paper flower.

Enjoy!
