The Dressy Girls

Wendy Burns
Designer & Owner
Hi I'm Wendy and I can't believe these lovely ladies have invited me to be part of this project. I knew nothing about stamping but with their patience and all their years of experience I'm learning. I might even have a go myself, watch this space!
I live in Nottingham with my husband and two children who have been the inspiration behind the characters, in particular my Daughter who has kept me up-to-date with blogging and encouraged me to get involved in the "All Dressed Up Team."
I trained as a textile designer and although my work is predominately digital based I love to retain that hand drawn / sewn feel which I hope comes across in the artwork. I can't wait to see all the wonderful creations, I hope you get as much joy out of using the stamps as I have in creating them.

Hello -  I'm Liz or Lilibet. I am 38 and recently married Ben after 11 years together (I had to be sure!!) I live in Cheshire in a house that we shall call a "work in progress" - It is old and need lots of love to restore its former glory.  I work full time and have a quite stressful job so I craft to relax. I can lose hours colouring or just stroking my stash of papers, ribbons and embellishments! (And I know I am not alone in doing this!!) I am addicted to colour and my style is quite bold and bright but unfussy. I have always been crafty and also make Sock Monkeys (Hence my blog name - Lilibets Monkey Hut) but I have never mastered drawing - so I am eternally grateful for digi stamps and the talents of people like Wendy for sharing stunning images. I am very excited and feel very privileged to be part of this Design Team. (:(|)x

Hi my name is Carole and I live in the North East of England with my husband who is also my best friend Michael . I have a son Martin, a beautiful daughter-in -law Fiona and a six month old Grandson Miles they live in Didsbury in Manchester. I have always enjoyed crafting, enjoying sewing, scrapbooking and cross stitch. When I retired six years ago I joined a local Craft Group and am now adddicted to card making especially stamping. I do love to have a go at new crafty things as often as I can I have made boxes ,decorated candles and  made stitched and  beaded cards. I started my blog The Things I Love three years ago and  have really enjoyed becoming part of the great craft blog world. When I'm not crafting I'm a school governor, enjoy travelling a lot and lunching with my lovely girl friends. I am absolutely delighted to have been asked to become a designer for All Dressed Up Stamps I always thought this was the sort of thing that happened to other people . Love and hugs Carole x

I'm a professional woman married to my high school sweetheart for 46 years. We have 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren that we don't see nearly enough. It was their births that started me scrapbooking and the rest is history. I've now found my new love-card making. I think they're like little works of art that I can share with ones I care about! My daughter would say that I'm a "collector" in that I never met a scrap item that I didn't like and through the years have gathered quite an array of various "treasures" so that I'd ALWAYS have just the right thing to put on my creations. And, sadly, that's the reason I think my craft room sometimes looks like I could open my OWN Local SB store!! I use this "Hobby" as a stress-reliever in the evenings after work as well as playing in my flower gardens, working in the yard, going to craft Festivals-can you tell I work in an office? I'm so happy to be joining this great Design Team! Looks like a happy group of gals.

I was also one of the original Dressy Girls, am delighted to be back and looking forward to being on the design team and working with the rest of the ladies and those sweet images of Wendy's.
I currently live on a farm in rural Saskatchewan with hubs but am retiring from my job as a municipal administrator in November of this year and we are moving into the city where we recently purchased a house and are doing some renos.  I might also add that these renos have about done us in.  'Let's paint' is how it started...
We have two grown children who have gifted us with four of the most wonderful and amazing grands. I have been involved in card making since 2010 and thoroughly enjoy it.  I've recently done a few mini albums and look forward to doing a few more.  Can't wait until that retirement day arrives because there is going to be some serious crafting going on!

I especially adore ADU images

Most of you know me as aussie aNNie so obviously I live in Australia. As a past scrapbook and card making teacher I still continue to use my skills creating and donating my creations to charity, nursing homes and foster carers. My interests in life are mostly swimming and walking, apart from crafting, and landscaping. As a busy and active person I do not find time to just sit around so most of my cards are made in the evenings. My family are supportive and I have 'one' devoted and loving husband, oh and my shadow, Thye, my chocolate Labrador. I love life."

Andrea here, you may know me from SheepSki Designs. Living in Yorkshire in the UK I work full time as an accountant and have hobbies such as competitive Badminton and Dancing (Argentine tango & Ceroc). I work for four different design teams at present. I have no actual style as such but I do like quirky and unusual images and I may be known for soft pastel colours. I've use mainly Copics but have a stock of mediums to hand now - polychromos & Lyra pencils, ProMarkers and Chameleon Pens. I occasionally paint with water colours and create mixed media canvases.

I'm an oldie.. in my early 60's now (!) - and was on the original DT at All Dressed Up. I'm retired so I have time to spend crafting - well, apart from the time I spend with my friends being 'ladies who lunch!' I have a lovely OH, (who is due to retire early next year), and two grown up daughters - one in York and one in London. I've been a papercrafter for over 10 years - but have crafted in all sorts of ways since childhood! I can't wait to get back into the girlie images from All Dressed Up - I even have one of the images I coloured originally as my blog header! x

Hi, I'm Debra and I work with my husband Dave, we run a Re upholstery workshop together, so in the evenings I give him a break from me and escape to my Bat Cave, We live near Skegness on the East Coast, I have two wonderful Sons and two gorgeous Granddaughters with a Grandson on the way next month. Oh and my FurBaby Mickey the Border Terrier.I have crafted all my life, ever  since my Gran taught me to knit and Mum taught me to sew. Papercraft is my all time favourite , I was totally mesmerised by heat embossing,  colouring is so relaxing and I could do it for hours. I have just started to dabble with mixed media and I must say I am loving it, just getting messy is so therapeutic, one thing I haven't mastered yet but keep trying is water colouring, but practice makes perfect.I'm really looking forward to being a Dressie and playing with all the gorgeous images that Wendy creates, I feel so honoured to be working with so many mega talented ladies, I look forward to sharing with you and also seeing your creations.

Hi, I'm Julie and so excited to be a Dressy Girl!  I'm approaching 59, and will cherish every birthday from here on in after surviving stage 4 cancer last year.  Each day is a gift!  I am back to working full-time at the nursing home in the small town where I live.  I've been the activity director there for 34 years now.  I love my job!  I also love crafting, and card making is my absolute favorite.  When not in my craft room, you'll find me with my husband, our British Golden, Gracie, or on the organ bench at the local church.  I am looking forward to coloring up Wendy's gorgeous images and sharing my creations with you.

Hi, I´m Helene but my nickname is Nick (it´s what my husband calls me). I live in Sweden in a small town, 200 km south of Stockholm. I teach art and sience and sometimes math at an elementary school. I have two children, 9 and 11 years old. I have always loved to craft but are now hooked on cardmaking. I found it so relaxing to sit and colour, really a way to mindfulness.
