Some Weekend inspiration from Dressy Girl Carolyn

Hiya peeps! Carolyn here  It's my day to give you a little inspiration.

This type of card is new for me but I liked the end result.
I don't normally use paper images to use as added embellishments to my cards.
I thought the colors were fun and why not!

This digi is  part of a trio called Three Little Autumn Girls. Isn't she just adorable!
I colored her up using Copics and added some cut outs from paper for added interest.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

All wrapped up...Inspiration from dressy girl Anne

Morning Everyone
It's that time of the month where I (Anne) get the chance to, hopefully inspire you with one of Wendy's gorgeous girls :)

This is 'All Wrapped Up' Isn't she adorable.  I've coloured her using copic markers and although it's not showing on the pic there is a little glamour dust sprinkled over her dress.  You'll just need to use your imagination lol
The papers are also available from the shop and can I just say that they print out beautifully, I promise you won't be disappointed with the quality of these.
So there you have it, my pinkalicious creation!
Enjoy your weekend and happy crafting

Pointillism inspiration from Dressy Girl Lizzy

Sooooooo cute!

Here I have used the inspirational post to tell you all about Pointillism, and here is the Wikipedia explanation:

Pointillism /ˈpwɛntɨlɪzəm/ is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of pure color are applied in patterns to form an image.

I thought it might be fun to apply this method of colouring an image, and I am quite pleased with the result, the technique actually compliments the cute little image really well.  It probably took as long to do as "proper" colouring,  but give it a go, its fun!!

Thanks for visiting our inspirational blog.  Lizzy xxxx

Little Star inspiration from dressy girl Kat

Hello lovely people!

It's Kat here today and I have a card to share with you using the super cute Happy Christmas Little Star.  I love how these images work well 'all dressed up' with lots of embellishments or kept CAS like this one.

Now, I really love my pink girly cards but this pretty aqua just seemed a perfect choice for this image and I still managed to sneak in a little pink!  And a little sparkle too!

I hope you enjoy my creation and for more details pop over to my blog and say hello :-)

Hugs,

Little Christmas Star by Christine R

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday! :)  I hope you are all having a wonderful week!  It's Christine here with a new card to share so I'll get right to it :)

How sweet is this image?  She's called Happy Christmas Little Star and I just LOVE her!  I love all of the sweet All Dressed Up Stamps, they are all so adorable and unique; there's just nothing else on the market like them and I just love them.  I of course colored her with my copics.  Here are the copics I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: RV000, R81, R83, R85
Blues: BG000, BG01, BG05, BG09
Yellows: Y35, Y38, E18
Bunny: W2, W4, W6

I also added lots of glitter for sparkle (here's a tip for adding glitter: put Glossy Accents all over where you want your glitter, then dump your glitter over the Glossy Accents, tap off the excess, and let it dry; it sticks great and looks extra shiny).  I created my card base out of SU cardstock.  My DP is from Recollections (Michael's).  I added a bow and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The die cuts were made using a Memory Box die.  Here are a couple more pictures:

What do you think?  Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much for stopping by :)

Hugs, Christine

For my card today I have decided to show you how to make this cute little Buckle Card.

I have used the gorgeous image Happy Christmas Little Star - which is available with many more in Store.

Happy Christmas Little Star

You will also need the following items

6x6 Card Blank
3 x Patterned Papers
A4 sheet Coloured Card
Colouring Medium (I used Promakers - colours listed below)
Fancy Oval & Plain Oval Dies
Corner Rounder Punch
Embellishments (as prefered)

1. Trim a 4cm piece away from the LH side of the card blank

2. Take this piece and score across at 5cm from the bottom (this will be your buckle)

3. Round the corners of the Buckle on the longer side

4. Trim a piece of paper to 9cm x 3cm & a piece of card to 9.5cm x 3.5cm
Round the corners of each piece

5. Mat together and attach to Buckle - also adding tape to the RH side

6. On the RH side of your card draw a line across 2cm up from the bottom.
On the LH side of the card draw 2 lines across at 2cm & 6cm up from the bottom
& 1 line vertically 3cm in from the LH edge

 7. Attach the Buckle to the RH side of the card, using the line you drew for placment

8. Trim a piece of paper to 13.5cm x 13.5cm & mat onto card cut to 14cm x 14cm
Trim another piece of paper to 10cm x 13.5cm & mat onto card cut to 10.5cm x 14cm

9. Add the large panel to the inside back of your card (this will also cover the back of the buckle)

10. Add the smaller panel to the outside front of your card

11. Using the lines on the back of the LH side of the card as a guide, trim out a small window (this will create the slot where you feed the buckle through)

12. Print & colour image. Die cut out using a plain Oval Die

To close the card you will push the buckle underneath the image and through the slot

Sew Pretty, Images are not just for colouring as Dressy Girl Nancy Shows us..

Good morning to you!

It's Nancy here to share a new project that I hope will inspire you!
Many of you have already seen the stitchery that I made using one of Wendy's lovely images. I have another stitched project for you but this time I stitched on paper instead of fabric.

I used the sweet little puppy from the freebie page.
I printed it "fit to page" onto 8 1/2 X 11 kraft cardstock.
I pierced holes evenly on all the main lines,
and stitched using a variety of colours of embroider floss.
The yoyo embellishments are added just for Wendy!
More details on how this was put together can be found at my BLOG.

Wendy has many adorable images that are perfect for this application!
So pop on over to the SHOP and be inspired! :o)
