Welcome new Dressy Girl Jennifer. And a fantastic colour placement inspiration Card.

Hey Dressy's, Day two of welcoming our New Dressy Girls. Today is the turn of Jennifer Dove

My name is Jennifer Dove, mother to two boys and a very supportive hubby.  I lived in Alaska for 12 years and since has moved to Arizona.  Yes, from the freezer to the fire!  I am a heavy equipment operator by trade and an artist by nature.

After moving to Arizona I became certified as a copic Designer both beginning and intermediate.  I teach local classes. Since then I have written a Copic workbook designed for my classes and have taught 100's of woman how to be a Copic color artist through retreats all over the states.  My student like to refer to the retreats as Copic Boot Camp.  I have recently been published in Copic Color Guide 4, as well as 3 and 2.  I am also a Copic Instructor through Annie's Publication online classes.  My first video is Create With Copics:  Beginner Guide.

I am thrilled to be apart of the All Dressed Up team and look forward to all the amazing images I get to play with.  I enjoy creating and coloring as this is my current passion.  I hope you enjoy my coloring inspiration and as well as the tutorials I come up with.  Remember, It is only paper and ink!  Have fun!!

And today Is Jennifers first Inspiration post for All Dressed Up

Hey Dressy Peeps, Jennifer Dove here (you don't know me yet...but you will).  I had some fun taking one of the ADU cute-as-a-button images and doing a little creative color placement with my markers to give the face a little more detail.  It takes a little imagination and a little creativity and wah-la...you have facial features.  I hope you enjoyed this little peek into my creativity.  You will be seeing a lot more of me throughout the next few months.

I used copics to create him and his little buddy.  The image can be found HERE.  Now you give it a try!!

The colors I used are:

YG95 YG99 green
B91 B93 B95 B97 Blue
R27 R46 Red
E50 E51 E21 skin
C1 C3 C5 C7 C9 metal
E04 bugs
E41 E42 E43 E44 E49 browns

Go get creative!!  Remember it is only ink and paper!

Sneeky peek time !

Morning Dressy's, now we have given a couple of sneeky peeks of our fantastic new releases coming on the 15th via the Facebook group... it seems a bit unfair not to share these with you as well doesn't it ?

Hmmm What could they be ???
Make sure you join us on Wednesday at 5pm GMT for the reveal and our blog hop.
Also don't forget you still have a couple of days to get your entries in for our current challenge

Welcome to new Dressy Girl Kelly....

Hiya Dressy's, from now until our challenge on 15th we are going to be introducing you to our new Dressy Girls, first lady joining us in 2014 is Kelly

I am very excited to join the All Dressed Up team and thank you for having me. I could spend many days in seclusion making cards and doing mixed media projects but my family  keeps me in the real world. I am a paper hoarder!  I love the patterned papers and it is so hard to use them so last year I learned to do canvas girls from a online class. Now I can use those papers on the canvas and put them on my walls, therapy for hoarders. lol

I have 7 kids but only 3 are home and I homeschool them.  It is a joy to be close with them and see where their lives are taking them. We live in the coldest State in the USA on a small farm. I stay in my clean craft room while my husband and kids tend to the animals and the huge garden in the summer.  I do love to cook and preserve all of our produce in the late summer and then in the winter it is so refreshing to pop open the garden fresh food!  So basically I fill all the needs of our family as well as my own addiction to crafting. I always say to my husband that crafting is cheaper than a psychiatrist!!

Here is some of Kelly's Work featuring All Dressed Up Images

I'm sure you will all give Kelly a very warm Dressy Welcome :)

Pretty In Pink from Dressy Girl Viv

Hi Everyone! Viv here from Crafting Haven.

It's my turn for an inspirational post today and I thought I'd share this gorgeous little miss with you.
Isn't she SWEET! She's called 'Love My Pets' and can be found on the ADU Etsy store
I also used some of the gorgeous background digi paper, also available from the store.
I found some pretty lace and added that to the band of pink card.
I coloured the little miss with Copics and added a flower or two and a stick pin I made myself.

Well I hope this card of mine did inspire you a little to get your markers out and maybe join in with our challenge which is going strong HERE!

Have a lovely weekend!

I have used the beautiful Amore and coloured her with my Spectrum Noirs, I added some glitter to the Amore ...well I had to have some sparkle ! And then just mounted her onto a Red 5x5 card blank.
I hope I have inspired you to enter our latest challenge there is still a few days left until it finishes. And don't forget to join us at 5pm GMT on 15th for our New release, New challenge & blog hop !

I Love my ipad from Dressy Girl Peggy

Hi Everyone!

Peggy here with an inspiration card. There is a little story behind my card today [chuckle]. My Mom has been looking at I Pad's for about six months now. While I was staying with her over Christmas, she got up one morning and said "I think I will get an I Pad today". Off to the store we went. I should have taken a picture of her as we were walking out of the store. She was swinging the bag and had the biggest grin on her face. I called her one day after I had returned home from the holidays and asked her how she was doing with her I Pad. She said "I Loooooove My I Pad".

So when I was perusing the All Dressed Up Etsy Store and saw this darling image, I could not resist making a card to send to my Mom.

Have a wonderful day and see you on the 15th for a spectacular release, blog hop and challenge!

Door Hanger from Dressy Girl Stacey

Hi everyone, Happy New Year. Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas. Today I want to show you a door hanger I made for my 12 year old daughters room. The digi was made based on a photo of my daughter and Wendy got this one spot on! She is now available over at the shop for anyone else who has a Converse wearing iPad addicted daughter like mine! More details of how this was made and a close up of the digi are available over on my blog. See you there.
